Human history has shown us that understanding how to forgive is just as vital as dispensing justice.

It's been known that a good attitude helps a cancer patient weather the storm. A stressed body cannot fight diseases as well as a relaxed one. It's one reason why lack of sleep can lead to hair loss and easy injury.

A person stressed with guilt can be more prone to sickness than, say, one who knows how to ask for forgiveness.

That's why it is important to be able to forgive yourself. The act of forgiving yourself is a jump into a new beginning. If you know you are good at heart, you can forgive yourself.

If you make it a point to learn from your mistakes, you are stronger. You can be a leader. Others, especially family, look up to you. You never know when others are already looking up to you. There comes a time when it's best to let go.
