The Secret Law of Attraction
A Brief History of the Universal Law of Attraction
The concept of the Law of Attraction was originally considered
to be a New Age concept. The original Law of Attraction stated that people's conscious and unconscious thoughts
dictate the reality of their lives, whether they were aware of it or not.
Essentially, if you truly wanted something and believed it would
happen, then it would become so, simply by the force of positive thinking.
This early theory included an otherworldly process that was
switched on whenever you believed attaining a specific goal, including things like creating wealth, was possible.
This was used by New Age spiritual leaders in seminars and workshops via a process they called
channeling.
The focus of The Law of Attraction has changed in recent years.
It is now considered by many people to be one of the Universal Laws, much like the Law of Cause and Effect or the
Law of Gravity. In fact, the Law of Attraction does not exist as a separate entity, but as a working part of the
Universal Laws.
The Secret Law of Attraction: Dream It and Believe It
Problems can occur when people see the Law of Attraction as a
law which works on its own. It simply does not. What it does say is that if you BELIEVE in what you want, then the
Law of Attraction will help you create reality.
If you BELIEVE you are going to lose your job, then that will
probably happen as well.
- Thinking about bad events happening creates an inner fear.
- Fear creates a strong emotion.
- In time the emotion builds itself into desire, knowingly or not.
- Desire is a magnet on the Law of Attraction.
- This Universal Law is compelled to bring to you what you desire, good or bad, genuinely
desired or not. It has no choice.
Use the Law of Attraction to harness your mind's power.
Visualize yourself achieving your goals. Not just into the future, but holding those goals in your hand now. Feel
it. Feel it with emotion. Understand the actions that must be performed to get the results you want. And do them
with belief and emotion. Every waking moment.
When someone asks you later what you would have done if things hadn't gone your way, you say that
such a scenario never crossed your mind. Be able to say it with conviction.
The actor John Travolta said that when he was in acting school one
of his instructors told him that he would never be successful as an actor. John Travolta thought the
instructor must have been out of his mind. He knew --just knew-- he was going to make it as an actor. He could
feel it. He had not doubts. Therefore the instructor must have been insane.
You can apply the Law of Attraction to losing weight, attracting
money, starting a successful business, and even finding a life partner. This secret Law of Attraction has gone far
beyond New Age beliefs to something that is widely accepted everywhere.
Spotting The Universal Law Of Attraction At An Early Age
Have you ever noticed that professional sports coaches with
winning records got into the game at a very early age. Perhaps first as players in school, then as assistant
coaches learning the trade from masters, and later as full-fledged coaches. The Universal Law very often tells a
young boy or girl what their special skill or talent is going to be.
They may discover this talent in elementary school, junior or
high school. Those who are successful in later life did not stray from their strengths. Follow their lead. When you
build upon your ingrown talents you feel a sense of “Yes, I can do this.” Trying to be what one isn't destined to
become makes success that much harder to achieve.
Don't be dismayed about your destiny. Remember the story of
McDonald's and the hamburger. This fast-food chain did not invent the hamburger. They found a better way to market
it.
And that's what you need to do with your talents. Your talents
are your hamburger. You just need to find the best way to market that talent. When you work at it, the secret Law
of Attraction brings the rest of the elements to you.
The comedian in school became the zany pitchman on television who made a bundle of money. He
never attempted to become a professional comedian. By using a new twist, he found a different way to market his
talent.
The Universal Law And You
You already use this Universal Law unconsciously. If you stop
and think you will see things that happened in your past that were in your mind's vision. You didn't realize it,
but you must have put a great deal of emotion into that vision. So it is not a matter of whether the Law of
Attraction exists or not, but how you consciously use it.
If you focus enough on your dreams until they become desire and
you really believe you can achieve them, you will. And remember that the Law of Attraction respects action. If you
are willing to take the actions necessary both in mind and body, then you can achieve what you dare to
dream.
