What is a Body Makeover?
There has been a lot of buzz lately
about the 6 week body makeover. Although it can be very challenging, it is possible to have a
total body makeover in six weeks.
What is the Difference Between a Makeover and an
Extreme Body Makeover?
When someone tells you about a total makeover, a six body makeover is
not necessarily the first thing that comes to mind. Even though a total makeover sounds more like a new hair
cut or a new wardrobe, a 6 week makeover is not something external. It's about the body and health. The basis
of the six week body makeover is a stringent diet and exercise program. It also requires
self-discipline.
A 6 week makeover can be the
beginning of a total makeover. You see your self-esteem improving when you feel good about your body. When you are
physically fit, your clothes fit better, the natural glow of your skin starts coming through, and your energy and
outlook on life sky-rockets. Put another way, your looks shine through and everyone notices the new
you.
How To Do an Extreme Body Makeover
First Step: Diet Makeover
There is an expensive 6 week body
makeover program that you can purchase (many people have had great results), or you can simply change your
lifestyle yourself. This includes a diet makeover.
A healthy diet is an extremely
important part of any full body makeover. Body makeover recipes have very little to no fat, low or complex
carbohydrates, and are high protein. Be sure to include a lot of different types of vegetables and
fruits.
Eating less and more frequently is
also a key component of any body makeover. Instead of eating 3 large meals a day, try 5 or 6 small meals. The human
stomach is only supposed to be as big as a fist, so do not eat any more than that at one sitting. Eating several
small meals per day ensures that you do not feel hungry while consuming less calories. It also revs up the
metabolism, so you burn calories faster.
Step Two: Total Makeover Exercise Program
It is not as important which exercise
program you use for your 6 body makeover as it is that you start one. This means that which exercise you do doesn't
really matter as long as you exercise.
Of course, some exercises burn more
calories than others, but the main thing is to get your heart rate up and your muscles moving. Make sure that the
exercise you do is something that you find enjoyable. If you don't like it, you won't keep up with it. Doing 30
minutes of exercise, 5 days a week, would be a great start for your body makeover program.
The first half of a complete body
makeover is the image and personal style. That's you yourself. The second half is the physical body. You need a
healthy, well-nourished body that you can dress for success.
With a good diet and regular
exercise, your clothes fit better. Your improved circulation makes your skin glow and changes your metabolism so
your energy keeps shooting up. Who needs expensive department store makeovers when you can beautify yourself from
the inside out at home?
