Cellulite Reduction Using Cellulite
Surgery
Cellulite is a condition that affects over 90% of all
women. Interestingly, cellulite reduction is not as much of an issue for men. Researchers believe that this might
be because some of the factor which affects the development of cellulite is related to the hormonal balance in the
female system.
Women continue to search for methods of cellulite
removal that can disappear cellulite from their bodies, or at least stop the progression. Over-the-counter creams,
herbal remedies, massage techniques, and even medications all have specific claims, but none are supported by
clinical research or supported by The Food and Drug Administration.
Liposuction
A couple different cellulite surgery techniques have
been evaluated for cellulite removal. Liposuction is one cellulite reduction technique which has shown varied
results. Several clinical trials, for example, have shown that liposuction which is intended for fat removal and
not necessarily cellulite removal does not have solid results in cellulite reduction. This could be because of the
way cellulite forms and spreads over thighs, abdomen and upper arms.
That orange peel appearance on the skin comes from fat
deposits forced up between connective tissue which lie just under the skin. Unfortunately, liposuction is designed
to remove the fat at a lower level and oftentimes leaves the fat that is too far up under the skin.
RejuveSkin claims to have pioneered a new cellulite
surgery method that is safe and effective. It uses a machine with a patent pending graft system that breaks up the
cellulite first and then applies a tissue grafting surgical technique which replaces removed tissue.
Not everyone is a candidate for this particular type of
treatment. Skin age, density, texture, and composition are factors that determine whether an individual is a good
candidate for this procedure.
Triactive Laser Dermology and Subcision
Another cellulite surgery procedure is triactive laser
dermology. It is a laser treatment that reduces the appearance of cellulite. Subcision is another invasive
technique that uses a special needle which separates the fibrous bonds from under the skin where the cellulite is
retained.

Using Radio Waves for Cellulite Reduction
Velasmooth is a non-invasive technique that uses a
combination of radio waves, infrared light and deep tissue massage to massage the cellulite in a very painless
manner. Lonithermie is a spa treatment that uses electrodes, thermal clay, essential oils and algae to reduce the
appearance of cellulite without removing the fat and connective tissue.
It is important for the woman and her doctor to first
consider the type of treatment she would like to undergo as well as choosing the best place to receive the
treatment. Women should seek the care of a qualified physician who is board certified, trusted among other
physicians, and for whom you can find referrals from friends, relatives, co-workers, or groups.
Because invasive surgeries can cause infection, it's
important you monitor results both during the surgery and after the procedure. Women should also see before and
after pictures of expected results so they can have a good grasp of what to expect from any particular procedure.
In case of incisions, physicians recommend that you not go back to your daily work until your incisions are fully
healed. Otherwise you may suffer an infection or a health relapse.
Always consult with your
doctor or a certified professional trainer before undertaking any exercises, treatments, or dietary
supplements.
